Val Katayev

A serial entrepreneur, Val has founded and led multiple technology companies to hyper-growth since 1999, spanning digital media, mobile, search, and data. An early pioneer in marketplace lending, he made some of the first peer-to-peer loans in U.S. history, and as a Managing Partner at Prime Meridian Capital Management helped grow the firm's assets under management from $5M to $500M in three years. At Poise, Val leads finance, capital strategy, and investor relations.

Danny brings multi-generational roots in New York construction through his family's long-established, Queens-based building business. At Poise, he leads development, construction, and acquisitions — sourcing sites, managing ground-up execution, and overseeing the build quality the firm is known for.
